We have a lake in Marshall,Mo. that is managed by the MDC.

The vegetation and algae have made this lake almost impossible to be fished from the shores. Who would one contact to see what could be done about this problem? Seems a shame to have such a nice lake that would be utilized more if this problem were addressed. A poll of local fisherman have expressed they would be willing to chip in if something could be done.
Do you have a contact person?

573-815-7901 is the number to the central regional office. Ask for the fisheries biologist and speak with them. It's probable that they are not aware of the problem (slipped through the cracks) and a request would get them to take care of the issue. They will not want to kill every weed because some weeds are good for fish productivity but would hopefully be able to get out there and make it fishable.

    Thanks.
