Climbed up a tree as far as I could until I dropped my hand saw. Wind out of the NE at a decent clip. Got a scrape I freshened 25 yds south of me and a cut bean field 50 yds east across the creek. Hope to find something cruising. Now if this wind will die down. Brrr!

If it makes you feel better it doesn't look like it will get any stronger.

Hang in there. I have seen lots of deer move in higher winds in years past. Sounds like a great spot.

Brr. I'm not wearing enough clothes for this wind. No deer so far. Had a squirrel check out the scrape I freshened. Don't think he liked it very much.

I climbed down at noon. Freshened the scrape once more and Then pulled the card on my camera and trimmed some more limbs at the #4 stand. Figured I'd better check on Momma. So not sure if I'm gonna get to go out tonight or not. If I do I'm thinking #4 due to the wind and maybe use the decoy as a does if I can get it to stay upright.
