When someone tells me they shot a 150" typical 10 pt. I start running images through my mind. Feed me a couple G measurements and give me the inside and I can do a sketch from there. If they tell me it NETS 138" then I automatically calculating where side to side it doesn't match up. Sometimes those are the things that give a rack total character, like drop tines, stickers, and splits, which I love! So, I guess NET just helps me imagine the individual characteristics of a buck that P&Y or B&C feel would make it less genetically perfect. The Zaft buck is one of my favorite discussions!
