What are the :rules: on carrying both weapons in the woods? I wanted to do this tonight but was not going to just due to legality issues and not wanting to encounter hairy situations--just hairy critters

It's illegal anytime except during regular firearms season. If bow season is open along with another season, you must choose one weapon only.
