QDMA has good lease insurance I believe. When we got it for a duck property years ago it was 1000s less.
QDMA has good lease insurance I believe. When we got it for a duck property years ago it was 1000s less.Anybody have any experience with buying insurance for a hunting lease? The owner of my new lease would like us to have a plan and I'm not sure what a competitive rate or where to purchase a plan. Thanks
I don't even think it's families suing. It's the insurance company's going after the landowners insurance company. My nephew broke his arm two weeks ago on my trampoline and they wouldn't tell the doctor where he was for fear of them coming after our insurance. If the landowner is smart, he'll have you buy insurance and add him as additional insured to the policy. One of the hunters might not sue, but his family might.. ..
My understating in mo is if you charge you are responsible and can be sued. If you don't charge you cannot be sued.I thought by law (can't remember where I read it) but if they charge you money to lease their property they need to provide the insurance? But if they don't charge you anything and it's just by permission only, then it's optional? Anyone know for sure?
That's when you tell the insurance you did it at homeI don't even think it's families suing. It's the insurance company's going after the landowners insurance company. I did that trying to keep my Harley from falling..not to swerve the thread but did you gets your repaired??. I didn't. my arm looks odd and I have no push strength ..always wondered how it would of been if I got it repaired. I was told I'd have a big scar and no range of motion. We signed an agreement with the landowner that he wouldn't be held responsible for any accidents. Don't know if it would actually hold up, but I do know none of us would ever sue the landowner, that's just ridiculous! I actually had an accident on our lease where I tore my bicep.
Yes, snapped the tendon holding the bicep, surgery and a cast for 6 weeks and a rehab then the gym to get the strength back.I did that trying to keep my Harley from falling..not to swerve the thread but did you gets your repaired??. My insurance company contacted a Lawfirm on my behalf when my son broke his arm a month ago..........I don't even think it's families suing. Yep insurance companies sue people and other insurance companies all the time. They try to get out of paying the bill anyway they can. So did anything come from it?My insurance company contacted a Lawfirm on my behalf when my son broke his arm a month ago..........
Did you regain much strength? I snapped mine too, doc drilled though bone below my elbow and reattached tendon through it, bicep still lumped shorter than normal and definitely doesn't feel natural. I skipped the rehab due to pending job change, so don't overload it.Yes, snapped the tendon holding the bicep, surgery and a cast for 6 weeks and a rehab then the gym to get the strength back.
It happened at a family members house, I'm not going after anything.Yep insurance companies sue people and other insurance companies all the time. They try to get out of paying the bill anyway they can. So did anything come from it?
