I hunt a ton in some urban areas and no plots are planted. Question, what are some late season foods that deer will concentrate on in the woods?

My guess is many are concentraing in patches of woods below people houses that are feeding them. none in my area and I wouldn't hunt between the beeding and a bait pile anyways.

Basically, just wondering if anyone knows a sure fire late season plant or tree that deer like enough to frequent.

Honeysuckle can be great when it is late season. Only problem is they will often be bedded there as well.

I have never been able to single out a tree or shrub in late season, they seem to browse on lots of stuff on the way to the stand. I doubt there are any white oak acorns left so concentrate on some reds taht still have acorns IMO.

Honey locust is always a good choice inside the timber, especially when there's snow & ice on the ground.
