Say a fellas granddad owns a a crap load of land in OK, so this question is for those who hunt OK, can the fella hunt for free on that land if he isn't a resident?



just looked up the prices and they are not real expensive but more than I am willing to pay to hunt in OK

Yep, just called them to see


Dang it sucks being a cheap son of gun some times

now I have to decide if I want to pony up 206$ bucks to hunt for 2 days

have your grandpa get a tag you kill it and have him tag it :D:D just kidding of course, kinda :D:D

Their website isn't the easiest to find stuff on. The funny part about their tags is that you have to choose wether you want to have a $206 buck tag or a $206 doe tag....it's not an any deer. If you buy the buck then the doe is an extra $51 dollars.

I think you can get a lifetime nonresident for $800 or $1000. Might be something to check out.

Just checked, they did away with those last year. Sorry.

This will teach me never to assume anything. I have been out there three years in a row and have purchased the $206 deer permit. I was well on my way to the lifetime license if I had only checked into it. I assumed that only residents could purchase a lifetime license.:boohoo:
