Usually fish for smallies on the smaller rivers, they are all blown out, going to try to hit Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, anyone know if the Crappie are on their beds yet?

not yet, and the lake rose 2' this weekend. I would try brush 8-12' deep.

I cant imagine crappie would be spawing for a couple weeks yet.

April 15th is a good time to look for spawning crappie at LOZ. Might be later this year
