Toughest loss I have ever went through. There are no words to say to my Brother-in-law or his wife. Kameron Ty Wallace was 7 days shy of his 18th birthday on last Wednesday when he was driving a tractor and mower to a field. He was hit from behind by a gravel truck that was trying to pass him.

Kameron just medaled in 4 events in state track. He came from about 150 meters behind to win the 400 relay in what was an almost movie like script. I was so looking forward to getting to see him play football next year and run state track again. Taking care of my mother for 6 years kept us from going anywhere.

Kameron just broke the 1947 200 meter school record at Stanberry and they said he was very close to breaking some other state records. Life can sure be cruel at times. He had just hit 6'2" which is 1" taller then my daughter. Both of them were so happy he had finally gotten taller then she was. Here is a video of his state relay run. He is the last leg and the kid that wins the race at the end.

Here he is lifting. He was a kid that had a smile and a laugh all the time. Even over nothing he could laugh for several minutes.

My sister in law posted this video on Friday morning. It has passed 30,000 views. A whole lot of awesome neighbors banded together to help out Treston and Tammy in this horrible loss. They mowed 180 acres on Friday and Sunday afternoon 24 men total bales hauled and stacked all the hay for them. There is a lot left to do but this will buy some more grieving time for them.

A sign from god???????

At 10:30 am Saturday morning there were hundreds gathered on the Stanberry football field for Kameron’s funeral. Just as the funeral started we heard sirens go through town. Come to find out later at the graveside service. The man who set the 1947 200 meter school record that Kameron had just broken was hit and killed in an accident at .....10:30.

How coincidental that 10:30 was the start time for funeral? And the time the accident happened that killed the 1947 record holder?
