Anyone Ever Tried One Of These? Or have a different system you use for placing your heavier 2 man style ladder stands?

Looks pretty handy but I'm guessing not cheap.

3:06 to 3:15 in the video looks similar to me setting mine up. :D
Our system involves two levers, one is 6'2" and the other is 6'7".

Forgot to list the 6 pack chaser!
Unless you were wide open most places don't have the space to lift a ladder stand like that. I usually have to set them upright then wiggle them back in their spot so I'm not setting right out in the open.

yes, it is absolutely amazing! one person can do it with zero problem! Well worth the one time investment, I got mine cheap, but if memory serves $50 is cheap seeing how new backs are not.

^^^^^^^ this the system you’ve got @20’
My friend has something similar to this. I’ve helped him put up a couple two man stands with it. It still required us to lift the stand almost vertical. His winch has such a short handle you couldn’t get it to help lift much at all. It would hold what we could lift. That kept us from having to start from scratch each time we had to stop for rest or reposition. Guess it mainly depends on the quality of the winch being used.

sure looks like it, footpegs & same cranking method. It may not be 100% as smooth as he showed, but it is awfully darn easy, and simple with a 2nd person, and that 2nd is usually a 12 yo.

I just have the pegs for the feet and that alone makes it worlds easier to set a ladder by myself.

Where are you finding the extra pegs?
I'm thinking of possibly making one of these contraptions. The pegs should be easy enough to fabricate... any idea on dimensions on the pegs?

Hey Bob! Have you put any of the larger 2 person 20 foot ladders up with it?
That's mainly what I'm considering it for. The single ladders I normally just use the front end loader on the tractor... These 20 foot stands are a different beast all together ...
 I need one

I've put up a 17" two man solo, I used my LW portable sticks to climb up the tree and a piece of rope to yank the stand into position and went from there. Granted it kinda sucked, but no way I was going to be able to do it any other way solo.

yes indeed, those are pretty much all I have used it for, you are welcome to borrow it, I don't have any plans to use this Fall (even though I have a 20' 2man in box in garage). Honestly, try it out if you still have stands to hang.
