Good old buck
KS Buck 2019
Been 14 years since I've filled a tag on opening day. This year I was in stand a total of 20 minutes before I let an arrow fly. Took a 92 degree day to bring this old boy to the Creek Stand for a drink at 6:15 p.m.
Every year I set goals for myself for the upcoming season and killing a big deer on this particular farm was one of those goals. I had this deer on camera for the last month and knew he'd score for sh!t but was about as mature and heavy of a deer as I'd seen in several years and I'd kill him if given the chance. Just never thought it would happen so soon.
Good thing I still have tags for several more states!
