MDC had it better than most states to start with. I couldn't believe when I move to Tennessee, that they had a 2 month spring season starting usually around march 31st and you could shoot 4 birds in a spring. They were decimating the population. It also had no limits on how many birds you could kill on a single WMA. Now they have removed the first month of the season and cut it down to 3 birds and only 1 per WMA.

Heard Nebraska is going to be a draw for nonresident tag and go to a 1 bird limit too.

Reducing nonresidents by 25% will be fun trying to draw a tag! That is probably the best thing that ks could do.

I've heard that also, but they live several years and find there own strut zones so I don't believe it.

I commend the states that are doing something. Mdc sees the $$$ signs and won't look any past that.Fall season could go for sure as well as archery season for turkeys till the situation improves.A draw for tags in Missouri, never happening. I've been told hunting in Missouri is such a family heritage that they don't want to limit families from doing it if some live in different states.Im sure the other 49 states don't enjoy hunting together so their good.
