If you are not sitting a tree you might want to get down to LOZ and shoot some docks.
Very nice Mike. You and you son?
A couple more weeks left for hunting for me. Then it’s time to get back on the lake
Yes last Saturday... The wife's limit was already cleaned when we decided to take a pic..
Once I get my fill of deer hunting, the crappie will be my #1 priority.
Nicely done. Looks like fun.
They are starting to get set up for winter. 100 + fish day yesterday.
Great work Mike and family!!!
What caliber are you shooting the docks with?
Maybe a woodmaster 16d caliber
Tongue in cheek question meaning what lure are you most successful shooting the docks?
LOL yeah I know and yet another tongue n cheek comment mine was------"Woodmaster"--ie "Wingmaster" and "16d---ie "16ga" caliber.
By the way MM, glad your feeling better.
That would be a 1/32 oz coming out of a 6'3" Tournament series Diawa Rod
I guess bigbass wasn’t yanking our chains after all.
Me and a buddy fished from 1-dark yesterday. I know I caught around three limits of keepers just by myself. The average size was very good as well as most were over 10” with several in the 11-12” range. Once you found them in the graph, the key to getting bit was shooting that jig way up under the dock 10-15’. The fish were only down a foot or two and usually bit within a handle turn or two.
They were catching quite a few crappie below the dam Saturday morning while I was there, but most looked pretty small. Soon to be sold in a chinese restaurant near you.
We caught a mixed bag of pretty much everything on jigs and jerkbaits.
Numbers were down today but the average size was a lot better..Finally found the big blacks...That cold weather cannot get here fast enough
They are getting bigger.
1 for sure a dandy
