Been hunting on public land and during the the 1st part of archery season seen 6 deer and could not get a shot, after the rain moved in before urban hunt have not seen anything that resembles a deer , i am just about ready to call it the end of huntins season i am so aggravated with this year. i know all it take is for 1 deer to come by and it will be all worth it. i guess i am just venting.

:blah::blah:

Thanks everyone for your input and advice , like i said just venting. i am sure i will be out there until the seasons end.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERONE WHO HAS NOT GOT ONE YET AND CONGRATS TO ALL WHO DID. :cheers: :cheers:

Been a tough year for MANY people Chaser:cheers: Not just people hunting public ground either. Stick with it, if you know some public ground that has a good established food source it can be really good late season if the weather and temps get bad enough:cheers:

Agreed with Dforbis, keep at it man. :cheers:
I've been taking a break since the 16th of November from a VERY frustrating cun season. This weekend I'll be in a tree with bow in hand.:D
The later in the year it gets the more important food sources become.

The rifle hunters probably killed them all. :mad2: On the public land I hunt, I was seeing between 1000 and 1500 deer a day. One day I passed on 50 180 inch bucks because they were just 2 1/2 year old bucks and I had a trail cam pic of a 5 1/2 year old typical 12 pointer that would score at least 300. But since the orange army rode in on their 4 wheelers and shot everything in sight, I cannot even find a deer track. Plus, they stole all of my treestands, left all kinds of litter, rutted up the parking lot by cutting donuts with their loud rust bucket trucks and even instigated a riot at the local Restaurant. :stickfight:

Darn those gun hunters. Darn them to heck.:stirpot::stirpot:
