[Bowpredator]

We went on a ride today and as we were heading through some thick stuff, a good sized fawn with spots exploded right from under the front of my horse. I bet we missed stepping on it by about a foot. Luckily my horse is used to stuff like that but it was cool to watch. Never heard or saw momma. I guess she laid him down there thinking he'd be safe and moved off, she just picked a bad place to hide her youngin!

It's amazing where those fawns are laying. My mom saw two laying underneath a tree in the backyard. She said they were laying there all day.
