You know Iowa may have some studs, as well does ILL., Ohio, and Kansas, but you know what just take a look at the Bucks on here.

Their must be a reason I see more and more Missouri Hunts on the Hunting Chan and the Outdoor Chan.

My Missouri brothers raise your head high and say!!! Missouri is the Show Me Sate when it comes to BIG FAT BEAN AND CORN Fed Whitetails!!!! LOL!!!!!

imagine what it COULD be if we shotened the incredible gun pressure the herd receives! Just think about it, mnove it out of the rut or shorten it to 7 days or someting. Eliminate the doe season, and especially the new foung timing of it!

to your point MO has always been the finest state in my mind, just tighten up our borders a little, heck good advice for the country:cheers:

That's all well & good if you're only a trophy hunter. But, I'd be willing to bet, that the vast majority of MO resident hunters, are not trophy hunters. I for one, really like the way the rules are setup in this state. We've sure got a lot of good hunting opportunities here in MO.

You do realize, MDC done some serious polling a couple years ago before implimenting the new AR's? Many of the rules you'd like to see changed, were part of they're plan. The silent majority of the hunters were heard from in the polling & the town hall type meetings & they backed off of those rule changes.

I hunt both in IA! I can't wait for IA this year as I have had my worst year ever in Missouri. I didn't even see a legal buck this year and I hunted 5 days of the season the entire day. I also had a couple other evening hunts. I hunted 3 different spots too and I know there are good deer there because I have game cam pics to prove it.

So as I said I can't wait to go to IA:wave::wave:

We had town style meetings and never should have though. The MDC should do what is necessary based on their observations as they are the professionals and their experience and education should be used to create the rules and regs. Not the emotional, uniformed public!

these are the people who slaughtered the 1.5 year ols and now we took a baby step with the 4 pt AR, they need to do more and I don't really care if the majority don't want to be trophy hunters, they can shoot does and help eliminate the need for a 12 day antlerless season and help eliminate 40+ days of gun pressure and heck in a given year maybe help the economy more when they shot a trophy!!!!!
