Spotted this in another forum. Interesting adaptation with the Mojo flock-a-flickers.

Looks pretty dumb. I think they're for sale online somewhere.
I just like to see people trying new things. Isn’t hunting about trying things and seeing what works? I’m always looking at what ducks actually do and what people are doing that works in the field. Never know from one day to the next what will bring them in the spread. Gotta keep evolving and adapting. Some ideas work out great some not so much.

Spinners should be banned.

In 1973 during the flood, we were hunting flloded milo for ducks. We noticed every time we started up the boat motor to retrieve ducks, more ducks would show up. So then we started to rock the boat to make wave an sometimes use the paddle.

In the late 70's early 80' we would be in a pit blind hunting geese and almost every time we let the black lab run loose, geese would show up. So then we started waving our hats and that worked but not as well. We went to the local sewing store and bought some black material and the sister in-law did some sewing on them and made flags, who knew?

I'm personally not a huge user of spinners. I own 1 and use it sparingly. I do have a few ripplers and have been building some diy pulsators and swimmers to use this season. I also use a jerk rig regularly. I'm more into the water movement and on water motion, but I don't fault people for trying new things.
Scatter them throughout the spread. Would give slight flashes here and there. I bet they work!

We used to throw gravel in the water to make ripples. Now they have machines for that ,?

Haha, that's funny. I like it though.

those would work great . I had the flock of flickers until they rusted people would laugh at them until 150 ducks would land in on them . I love any kind of movement .been hunting 40 plus years and I wont go with out a vortex .
I'm pretty impressed with those flickers also, always take acouple even if I have to walk in somewhere. They are some rusting sob's though I take them apart every year and spay them down good and hang upside down, seems to help some.
