I’m willing to bet that most guys who think they shoot instinctively would find that if the can’t see their bow hand, riser/grip area or arrow they can’t hit shiit.

I shot true instinctive for 40 years. Had major target panic issue when using sights. When I was shooti g a lot on ranges could hold 5 arrows in 5" circle at 30 yards. Could hit bulls eye fairly consistent out to 45 yrdss. My best friend won MO Bare bow Championship he really taught me a lot.
I have taken many many deer shooting Bare bow.
With all this said I am now in my 70s and had to crank bow down harder to get off string shooting 3 fingers under so I am trying my first release and sights this year. Huge change for me been shooting Bare bow since 1972

Back to instinctive. Tried sights and release just couldn't get used to it. Even though arrow flight not as clean shooting 3 fingers under and no sights works for me. Lower poundage does make it harder to get clean release with fingers.
He has some interesting videos
