I have been trying a relatively new product by Cutter Advanced
that uses picardin as the active ingredient vs. the standard deet.

Anybody tried this stuff?

I used it at the shoot last weekend in combo with some permanone
and had zero ticks or bites.. I think its good stuff.
I like it cause it literally has no smell or oily residue. Seems good so far..

cutter insect repellent

Heres what it looks like. Its not an aerosol.. pump type applicator.
I got it at Home Depot. It was co-packaged with a smaller handy 1oz. bottle
that fits in small packs, ect.

Um..... I forget..

It is competitively priced with most others as I remember.
But anything new will command a bit of a premium just cause its new.

I'd say 4 bucks or so for the combo deal.. dont hold me to that tho..

Seriously.. it doesnt smell at all. Maybe just a hint of wet newspapers or
something like that. But when it dries (dries quick cause there are no oily
aerosol propellents) there is literally no stink except my own!

Even though I cant smell it dont mean a deer cant detect it...
