Few years ago I shot a buck back when I lived in Arkansas and I noticed he had a limp to his walk. Just figured he got hurt fighting since it was the rut. After I pulled his britches off I noticed his right shoulder, opposite of where i shot him had a bloody spot. Looked further and there was a fixed blade broad head in the joint of his shoulder. Also seen a spot that looked infected on his left ham and found a .22 in his ham. I felt honored to take a deer that had already cheated death twice. They sure are some tough animals.
