so what is the admendment? all guns required to have 30 shot capacity magazine/clips

Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Wildlife Code. Permits hunting with a rifle for the taking of deer. Provides that rifle hunting permits issued by the Department of Natural Resources shall be approved by county ordinance. Provides that notwithstanding any provision of the Code, it is unlawful to take a deer with a rifle in a county of the State with a population of 500,000 or more. Defines "rifle" as any firearm designed, made, or adapted to be fired from the shoulder that uses the energy of an explosive in a fixed metallic cartridge to fire a projectile through a rifled bore by a single function of the trigger.

if you read the whole bill, there are a lot of things not to do with rifles added to it...

archaic like having a firearms season in peak rut,....a sluguns ability to be accurate at 200 yards does not equate to 200 effectiveness, just like a rifle that can be accurate at 600+ yards....

They are attempting to provide a quality product that people want to firearms hunt. They want an orange army not a pumpkin patch.….their scrambling now to get somebody to buy those high buck tags.....

Honest question? Why is it bad if it's easy. Anyone who wants their hunt to be more difficult can certainly do so. I definitely have respect for people who do things the difficult way but no disrespect for people who do things the easiest legal way.
