I put a new site on my bow this weekend (jnh did) and while shooting found it was improving my groups at 40 yards much better than at 30. My 20 yard groups are starting to remind me of when I shot alot in the old days. My 30 yard groups just plain stink,,they may be on the proverbial pie plate but thats about it. The only difference in my pins is that the 30 yard pin is dark red and the other 2 are neon. On my old site I had moved my red pin to the 40 yard spot and rarely shot at 40. Does anyone else notice a difference in their ability to shoot different color pins or do I need to make an apointment with a shrink?????

nope Henry.....Tony has the same problem......but heck, maybe you both need a shrink. :bangin:

But seriously, I have noticed the red pins seem a little fuzzy and I too have a little trouble with being as accurate with them as well.

There is something to be said about concentrating harder at 40 yds.

Todd, I can tell you I see the green a lot better than the red. Same way for the sights on my turkey gun. The red are in back and the green out front. The farther away from my eye the harder it is to focus on the red.

How much? I could use a good shrink. :rotfl:

As for the pins, have the same problem. My eyes aren't what they used to be.
I just want to know if we are gonna get a group rate at the shrink???

Maybe there is something to this. So far it seems that I'm not alone. I may switch pins next weekend to see if it makes a difference. (i could still probably use a shrink though)

With this group, I don't believe we will find a shrink that will take us :rotfl:

Tony is a RED pin hater more than myself. I actually think he is changing out all his red pins and switching to a green, yellow rotation.

Once Henry figures out this problem, he will STILL need some therapy.

Maybe you should flip them over so that the red is on top and green at the bottom. Would look like a stop light too then.

Wait... those pins are differnt colors??

Venatic... I seem to remember that your boy only had one color, one pin
and outshot most of us at Marshall on that last range.

Maybe thats the way to go...
