I need some parts for it, namely the parts to either replace the old pump or repair the pump. This thing is from the 40's I think it had the motor mounted horizonally on the side of the ram and worked off a cam lobe arrangement. This needs to be a "cheap" as possible as I am poor now.......lol but I need to get it fixed to earn a little cash. Thanks Guys.

You may want to investigate other applications for that pump, to give you more sources for parts. Most of that stuff isn't designed and machined for just one use, and you may find something more modern that is still using the pump and or motor for it. I used to operate an elgin street machine that used alot of john deere parts.

Henry you are fast...lol, it looks like any other meyers lift with the motor on the side but the newer ones (which I can't afford) run directly into the pump this one had a pumping mechanisum like a hydraulic jack the the cam lobe opperated and a cable went to a lever to release the fluid back into the bottle area like a jack. it is mostly a hydraulic ram now that I used to raise with a hand pump but, I don't have access to the handpump any more ( long story which I think you know) so I need to improvise. I have looked a a number of pumps but, they are way out of my price range. thank you for any help.

P.S. any 12 volt pump that would raise the plow I could work with, it doesn't need to be new or anything and, I am great at adapting.......lol thanks again.

John, Have you searched on Craigslist up there? I run across old plow parts down here all the time on Craigslist.

I saw a few pumps this morning that were selling about $200 without the motor.

I'll keep my eyes open for you John.
