Got my new harness in last night. Time to get back in the saddle I guess.

PSA bump for all those going out tomorrow. I know my wife and babies are sure glad I had my harness on that day.

I didnt remember this post but I had a similar experience just last year and the muddy harness engaged and did its job, was able to get the ladder back against the stand so I wouldnt be dangling there.
Ratchet strap.

Also a reminder to inspect those harnesses for damage after a fall. Some have tell tale stitching that get exposed after impact. Some have connections that have tell tales. Just be sure it’s still good and safe to continue to use.

I bought a brand new one after this, why take the chance when it's $150 fix
