Jigman I know one of those type of guys too. But he keeps it on high and constant. Makes it kind of hard to plastic worm fish when your worm come to the top of the water back behind the motor. I never had tried trolling with a plastic worm before.

trolling is a great way to catch those whites on truman but i still stop when i see shad and grap my other reall with the 4 inch shassy shad on it.

maybe your friend things that whirlly things in a wind guage;)
