I had two yearlings come in on me and I didn't want to shoot them. They eventually got to within 10 feet of me and were looking right up at me trying to figure out what the heck was there. Luckily, I was hugging the tree to try and blend in and they didn't get too alarmed. :rof2: :hysterical: Just thought I would share.

I didn`t hug a tree, but had one under me Tues. night that I could have literally spit on (and I can`t spit far). It was one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed, as it didn`t have a clue I was fifteen feet overhead watching.

MoBowman, 10 years ago I was so scared of heights that it was hard for me to even climb up into a stand. And when I did, I guarantee I was hanging on the whole time. So I guess I've been a tree hugger for quite a while now. :rof2::hysterical:
