Hybrid Bass are a Bite\'n at Truman (pic)

This past week while the wife and I were fishing at Osage Bluff area at Truman Lake one of the local fishermen came into the Marina with a nice stringer of Hybrid Bass. No one had a camera but me so I took his picture and sent it to the marinas web site. The biggest one weighed 7 lbs 3 ozs and the other big one weighed 6 lbs 8 ozs. I was told that later that evening he returned to the dock with one that weighed over 11 pounds. No one had a camera so he took it home and ate it.

The guys name is Dan Kirk and he caught them on a homemade crank bait. He wouldn't even show it to me. A true fisherman. :mad2:

Couple of nice strippers there Mailman---they are not uncommon to get into the 14 to 15 lb range in that lake!:cheers:
