that sure is a beast... yeah that hole is puzzling.. looks like something had been wrapped around it??

It looks like it has a whole deer tag wrapped around the base with two peices of scotch tape holding it together.

Yes that is a bullet hole. My brother`s step son put that hole plus two more holes in the body while the deer was on us and the deer ran to the neighbor`s field,but he would not allow us to look for it and two days later he checked the deer in. IT had maggets in it`s body, but he said it was still alive and he shot it.

Grandpa - yeah, that's the land I figured. You've had the word out on it for sale for a year or more I think. Virgin timber? really? I may want to come look at it.
