I am new to duck hunting and was wanting to knew if hunting in the rain is worth the time.

Hunt the woods in the sunshine and the fields in the rain. I would go!!! Duck hunting shines in the rain. Season is only 60 days long right??? You have a close walk anyways, plus your wearing waders...you'll be fine

Some spots we hunt, the best days are overcast, rainy, and windy.

Other spots only produce on blue bird days.

We got 4 geese and 2 bluebills while getting soaked this morning. Coulda killed a lot more geese if it weren't for the stupid thing called limits... Coulda also killed greencaps if I wouldn't have been retrieving geese at a bad time.

Geese were moving very early compared to normal in our area. I got my 2 before the other guys got there, and then they never fired a shot.
