Floods every year and deer go back. It’s no different than any bottom ground.

Anyone been out hunting Howell yet?
I assume the flooding this spring has negatively impacted the deer numbers there. Is that true?

I heard they are getting ready to do a deer drive there.
I once saw a Russian or Polish guy there with a field dressed deer strapped on a bike longways riding out on the main trail!!! He just nodded at me as if to say "Good Luck" and kept pedaling...…...word to the wise...Planes are generally landing into the wind at the adjacent airport. If you get lost that should help indicate what is east/west as the airport is due east.

I don't believe deer drives on an island are fair Chase so me and 35 friends just do a lot of still hunting there.
