try basecampleasing.com or google "hunting lease network" there are plenty of leases on both. You can also find property on craigslist most of the time.

"Now" does seem to be the time - 8 of the last 15 or so posts on the Craigslist Kirksville sporting goods section have been guys looking for hunting land for 2010.

Ask anytime you can and you can look on craigslist or on MWT or search some other websites for land for lease.
