Just watching Fishing Show. They are in Kayaks just got this 12 foot Jon.

I’m thinking small rivers and Lake Coves. My Son says use it. Gigging or whatever just be careful.

Are Kayaks more stable? They are out in what I consider rough Lake and standing up in them.

It’s a 36 but yes the older fat guy that has trouble walking on dry ground might be a problem.

Been trying to get my wife to let me get a 16/48 but I messed up selling my 18/60.

You need a pontoon that is kept at a dock for easy access for old fat guys like you and me. Gotta make sure we get back home safely from our fishing trips.
My wife actually showed interest in Pontoons but it would have to come home every day.

My Son would stand up in the front of my old one said it was good for gigging.

I’m thinking if we do this just use LED Light Bar and Battery.

My parents uses 12ft john boat with a trolling motor for years on small water and did well with it. Dad would just shove it in the back of the truck.
Bigger than a Pirogue?

way more that a 10'boat!
I sunk a 10 footer years ago.

Years ago two guys and two kids drowned last day of Gigging Season in the river in a 10 foot boat.

I had a 12 footer I would take it out on Truman Lake. Had my Grandson and me in it he weighed over 300 pounds so I figured I could haul me and a Hog in it.
