can a coot stay under without drowning? Obviously longer than I am willing to wait.

And do they ever surface after being swatted?

Since few surface after being swatted, and even fewer float on in to shore, how do you know when to stop? :D

If it swam around the pool all day, you obviously did not get all of it. Kinda like deer that run off, the shot was misplaced somehow. And yes, I have made more than a few misplaced shots, but I have slam dunked alot too.

And which part of "IF THEY SURFACE, SWAT 'EM AGAIN" did you not understand? :D:D:D
