Holloween Buck
I finally got to go out this evening to Hunt..saw 2 Deer come out early,a 4-Point Buck and a Spike that I had first thought was a Doe?They started sparring a little and slowly made it across the middle bottom Field,it was a nice calm evening and I figured I call it a day and walk up thru the woods to where I parked the UTV and head back before dark.
When I got to the clearing a Doe ran thru the Barn grass to the open pathes I mowed around the food plots... I snuck up closer and here came a nice Buck following Her,I put the crosshairs on his side just behind the shoulder at the 40 yard mark,flipped off the safety and pulled the trigger...He Mule kicked and ran off thru the taller grass and into the woods...I sat there and waited for 20 minutes then walked the field edge looking for signs of blood?
I called the BIL for help and continued walking back and forth finally seeing the blood trail where it went into the woods...about 10 feet was the Buck pilled up on several deadfall tree's.My first Official "Holloween Buck"!

Thanks Everyone.....I called all the places in Town as soon as possible....No One open during Archery Season so I drove down to the local Bar and stuff the cavity full with 4 bags of ice til I take it in to the Meat Place in the morning.
