Me being a duck hunter and all just thinking about camera theft...
How about placing the cam inside a custom bird house? It would let the trespassers/thief know you are there enough to place a bird house there...
Whadayatink?

Yep, I used to have one set up like that. Just hang the bird house where you want it. The front was hinged, with a pin latch, so it was easy to open and check the cam.

what about night time pictures?
Pics at night still worked. The cam has to be set just right, so that you don't end up with a huge flare reflecting back. The house and entrance hole just need to be big enough for that; one of those small ones like for Wrens wouldn't work.
Would you have a problem with other animals/bugs wanting to build nests

I was just wondering how to put it in there and not cover up the IR array.
I wish I could find a pic of the setup I had. I think I deleted the pics. :/
I put them on stands out in the wide open. People think it's a trap and leave them alone.
