Shot a half box of Hevi-Metal #3's last Wed. at Grand Pass. I normally shoot Hevi-Shot #2, decided to try something new. I like the Hevi-Metal as much, if not more, than Hevi-shot. Shot 6 Teal, all solid kills.

Grand Pass was turning on last week. The snow geese were crazy in the morning. Lots of Teal, saw few Mallards.

Thats all i been shooting this year early goose season and duck is the hevi-metal #3 probley going to step down to the #2 for late goose maybe the bb

outta my gun its totally knocking the daylights outta birds.....Love it


BUT

it is the dirtiest nastiest crap i have ever seen 5 rounds of that and the insides of my gun looks like i have shot 500 of any other ammo and i am not kidding but theway its hits birds i will just clean my gun more often

Its a good comprimise from hevishot and steel.. the hard hitting of hevi shot and the cheapness of steal purdy good for sure.
