Do you think a particular Hen will nest in the same area every year? The reason I ask is, for 3 years in a row, I have seen a single hen in the same area near a ditch on my drive into work. Today she was wondering around looking lost in a ditch full of water. I'm half way betting that her clutch got wiped out last night from the storms.

It may be a normally good nesting spot that multiple hens have been attracted to over the years. I don't know how a guy would know either way.

The first two years I noticed her, she had a beard. I couldn't tell as I drove by today if she did.
