Older than 3.5 last year imho. Looks to be pushing 5+ but there's not guarantee in visual aging a deer of any age especially one past 4 years.

Thanks any idea on score guessing low 140s
Ran down last year 4.5 year old looks to me so this year probably 5.5 and he is real framey. If he added some good mass and couple kickers I could see him being 150ish
Thanks he is a typically Ozarks deer not sure how much mass he added hard to tell from blurred photos in Aug. Shot a 148 on same property in 2016 this guy is taller maybe bit wider but not as much mass.

Naw I have pics with him next to really young deer.He is small body and tight skinned.Usually old bucks look more fat in MS ag country like this one,I think these 2 could be 4.5.Me and my buddy who is a biologist I send my trail cam pics could be wrong but ones in past were filled out more from front through their tail ends. Its all crap shoot but I'm 90% sure he is 3.5 but time will tell you may be right and I'll bust him

whatever you think, I would say that there is still a good chance that buck is 4.5. makes no difference.

I just don't see it following the normal rule of thumb his neck is skinny and attached high,no gut, long legs, weighs prolly 170lbs.Always a possibility but I would always use caution with a buck with that much potential and at least give him another year.I think that's the best way to go about it is if unsure let em grow.6-7 years ago I would be hanging a stand trying to kill him lol

that's where we differ, he appears to clearly have a gut???
The first buck in Dec of 2018 is more than three and probably more than 4 in the 2018 picture.
