There was a MDC had a video suggesting the the bans on feed/salt/mineral and utilizing corn to inventory deer prior to the season (trail cams) for areas outside the immediate hot zones being lifted.

Has this been shared in some official capacity?

I assume by "immediate hot zones", you mean the close proximity areas where MDC is culling deer in the winter. If so, I have heard nothing. I believe the CWD zones (counties with CWD and counties within 10 miles (was 25) from a CWD positive) are where you can not legally place minerals for deer. I will re-post if I hear something different in the next couple weeks.
