Are there any gunsmiths in SE Missouri that can handle a rebarrel job or reboring job ? I know there are none in St. Francois Co. I want to get a Browning BLR rebarreled with a 22" inch barrel instead of the 20" bbl it comes with. I handeled a blr 300 wsm Sat and the balance was perfect for me with the 22" bbl. But I'm not crazy about the caliber. Unless you can load it dow to .308 levels. But, I can find no datas for this. Any help appre3ciated

you might try don bollinger out at marble hill. he might be able to do that. i just wish i had his contact information handy

I have tried Bollinger. He is a good guy but messed up rebarreling my Rugar 77 to .358 so I'm still looking. Thanks

You might try these "youth loads" for your magnum, they are reduced loads using the common H-4895. If you nose around a little bit, you can find this kind of stuff.
