Ugh! I worked on 60s when I was in the service, we had a hard time keeping them running right (they were pretty old, when we had them). I doubt they could lighten that thing up enough for me to WANT to pack it around. To each his own, though. I think I'd rather pack my Model 70 than that, for deer season, and without a good scope, it wouldn't work too well for PDs, either. It might be fun to keep the riff-raff away............

just a guess but if you swore off hunting and fishing, spent more time
planting flowers, telling her that her hair looks nice, washing all of the
dishes, petting the cat, etc.
