This is Goldtip's Ultratec and mine in compareson, the XL is still 2" shorter in axle length

The pin is pretty bright, my problem is that the older I get (new glasses and all) my multi pin sites are getting blurry. The single pin is really sharp to me and works well.

Hoyt,

Congratulations! I just got one, too. Sold my Havoctec---the Havoctec feels alot lighter to me, but the Trykon seems to be much quieter and much less recoil. I fiddled with mine all day today---have been pretty pleased so far!

Just bought the new switchback XT and am leaving for Idaho middle of September on a public land Elk, Muley, bear hunt. I will also be in North Central MO for 1 week of bow season and the opener of gun season.
