Good luck to my fellow hunters who will be braving some cold temps to chase Missouri longbeards tomorrow. I wonder if Statewide temps have ever been colder for Missouri's first day of the spring season? Temps are supposed to be in the upper 20's when I head out and a pretty good wind to boot.

I CAN REMEMBER SEVERAL TIMES WHEN IT WAS COLD WITH SNOW.tHE turkey will be like the deer when it is hot. its time to breed and they will not miss the chance.
THE GROUPS ARE NOW BROKE UP INTO SMALLER GROUPS . i FOUND 2 GROUPS GETING READY TO ROOST INCLUDING THE BIRD I AM AFTER. HE MAY BE WHERE I WANT HIM OR A QUARTER MILE AWAY. tHE BAD IN THE WEATHER IN THE MORNING IS GOING TO BE THE STRONG. N.W. WIND.
iF hawk had his way i could kill three this week before others had the time to hunt.So who is the selfish one?

Good luck all. Didn't hear squat this evening but didn't expect to with this weather. Seen a hen all alone on a logging road

I’m running a little behind this morning. Still 30 minutes out from my hunting spot. Hopefully the cold weather and wind as the birds are running a little behind also. Good luck to everyone

gobbled good on the roost, to bad roost is 1/4 mile over on neighbors, all quiet and I'm sure they won't pass thru me before 7:30 when I have to head to work. at least I do have a wind block
