Anyone breed gsp or know of any good breeders in mo? Thanks
Don't know of any here in Missouri...Was in Colorado bird hunting with 1 the past 2 years and talk about a good time.
No, but there will be a bunch of them at Busch Wildlife on April 7&8.
Family memeber of mine has some good ones, but not sure if he's a breeder.
contact Army SGM on here for his advice...
I had a great one, Jake. We will be getting a puppy soon and I am not sure the wife is up for another GSP, she has gotten used to a "more relaxed" black lab. Following. May have to track them down at Busch, thanks for the info
I will have some pups in about a year from a dandy pair. Male is 11 months old and female is 1 1/2 years old now. They are just about a year from being ready. Papered and all.
I currently guide with 4 of them.
I think my brother has one male left out of a litter but he's in Colorado. Here is a pic of the female I got. Top notch dogs, sire was a guide dog for the bluffs (high end hunting club out there) and mom is a machine. Let me know if u are interested and I'll get some pics and can set it up
Beautiful dog WAPITI.
You might want to check with Tom Peak at String Creek Farms. He is at Centertown MO near Jefferson City. 573-353-6386
Look into a Braque francais pyrenese. I have a three month old and she is a sweetheart as advertised. Easy in the house and more mellow like a lab. To young to tell how good she will be in the bird fields, but she points and trains easy with positive methods.
Here is my 4 crazy GSP's.
good looking dogs, one of each, and a spare
Thanks waterman. Yeah they are a lot of fun, and wow have they came a long this year. It's been fun.
No snow in Iowa, or no MO. If this spring rain keeps up in KS. OK and Texas I'll have lived long enough to see the good old days twice
Thanks all for the info. I talked to Tom an he's gonna let me if he comes across one. Still looking though so if anyone comes across a good pup let me know. Thanks again
Thanks parrish. I bet you've got your hands full w/ those 4.
She's a sweetheart Sean!:
They do look a lot like a GSP, eh? I don't know if I can bring myself to have a French dog though. What happens when someone breaks into the house? I would feel like a guy with a labradoodle at a hunt test....
I didn't know they existed, do they have webbed paws too?
