Looks like a fun time by all!
Tanning or mounting that dog?
Killmode is gonna euro the skull for him.
That Killmode is an okay dude
that's not what I've heard...
For christs sake don't tell him that.
Looks like a good day in the field.
It was a great day in the field. We're doing it again in Dec. MDC is supplying 4 track chairs for our hunters. Here's the facebook post for the event.
Looks like a good hunt surprised no one is saying anything about worms in Rabbits.
The Big Grin don't like BOOOOOM!
Worms won't be a problem in mid Dec.
I always try to do at least one rabbit hunt on my place in January, once deer season is over. Does a couple of things, puts a couple rabbits in the pot, and I can sort of inspect areas of my property that I don't go into during deer season..... I was always told, no rabbit hunting until after the first frost.... January, or early February works for me.
Love a nice fried rabbit, milk gravy and mashed potatos dinner.
Classic photo Callaojoe!
I think this year, I'll tote the LC Smith or the Fox 16ga on my annual rabbit walk.....
I am officially inviting myself.
I have a Savage 24 I'd like to take
You are cordially invited, a Savage 24 was my first "real" gun. Someone stole it out of the back of our Jeep in the early 1980's..... What setup is yours?
20/22mag... 24D I believe. My uncle had one when I was growing up and Chairman had one for sale about 12 years ago so I bought it for nostalgia sake.
If I ever run across the right one, at the right price, I'll scoop it up in a heartbeat. Mine was a 20ga/22LR. Case hardened receiver, don't remember the prezact model.
Ok didn't see the date but see worms here year round and warm never stopped me in Louisiana
The Big Grin gets wormed regular.
Beautiful gun Callajoe. That's a great pic.
