These last couple of posts about full body dekes got me thinkin about my x-mas present from the wife. I am lookin at GHG FFD Lessers with bag for $169 or the GHG Hunter Series with no bag for $159. Any opinions????? Will the FFDs loose their "flockyness" worse than the regular ones loosing their paint? Also, what are the pros and cons of the Lessers? What do you all think?

[rquote=1516464&tid=105735&author=Rebel]Fully flocked is overrated imo, if they are close enough to tell that they should be dead :)

[/rquote]

Or at least gettin shot at :rof2:

Flocked or not, I have no real strong feelings about. A good bag will go along ways in keeping your decoys looking good though

[rquote=1516488&tid=105735&author=Rebel]Id get dakotas over ghg fer sure  ((make sure they are the NEW model not the old ones))[/rquote]
Amen to that!
Cabelas is selling the 07' model for $99 and just trying to clear out their inventory. The paint is different colored, not as durable, and the bases on the 07's have had problems. Dakotas are always first on my list :D

Fully flocked is not needed on full bodies!!! We have 9 dozen that gets bagged very carefully every time. The flocking wears off when we put them in and take them out of the bags.

There are 3 decoys on the market that you dont have to worry about the paint chipping off. From bagging or transporting.

1. Dakotas
2. Higdons
3. Big Foots

[rquote=1517079&tid=105735&author=10pointer]i love me some bigfeet. flocked heads are the bizness. dont think fully flocked are necessary... the bigger the better and the more decoys for the buck the better too IMO [/rquote]
