looking for a good sweet semi dwarf cherry tree..... got a peach and apple tree planted a few weeks ago but need a cherry.. anybody dabble in fruit trees??

I have over 100 various fruit trees planted in my 4 orchards.

A variety of fruits, with the majority being apple but also pear, peach, nectarine, plums, sweet cherries, tart cherries, cider apples, and crabapples.

For a prolific sweet cherry I'd recommend either a Stella or Hardy Giant variety.

Most sweet cherries are self pollinating so no need for a second tree if you don't have room.

perfect.. ill check at starks for a hardy giant... where do you get your trees?? planted a apple and peach last week but the peach not showing any leaves yet the apple took off and looking good..

Up until this year I've always grafted my own but I'm out of room so I am not grafting any this year.

I planted the last few of my remaining grafts from last year yesterday to replace a couple that had died or were under performing and gave the rest to Truehunter one day last week in exchange for a favor from him.

I don’t have any cherry trees yet. I have 5 apple, 5 pear, and around 50 persimmon. Mostly just plant them for the deer.
