In a fence row. It was the remains of a spotted fawn that appears to have died from the classic "twist" of fence wire around the ankle.
Anyone who's hunted much has probably seen this at least once. They sometimes don't quite clear the fence and hang up (literally).
Must not have been a comfy death in the heat. I know it happpened in the last 2 weeks and the carcass was almost entirely consumed.
