Well, I decided to walk into my "sanctuary" for a real quick pass thru and found 5. 3 dinks and 2 decent ones. Bone is bone though. I saw a booner last night in my cut corn that still had both sides on. I will post pics when I get home. I have never been in the sanctuary which is a cedar thicket but my blood was pumpin' when I found some huge rubs. Will post those too when I get home.

Thats the smallest matched set I have ever found. They were right next to each other. Need to bring the camera next time for some "as they lay" pics.

This rub line essentially goes into the thicket and the bigger rubs were about 75 yards in.

I found this one during the season. Was hoping to get him this year but not this way. He died sometime in 2008. Luckily the tree rats didn't finish him up.

My last one and I will leave you all alone. It looks like this guy had double brows on both sides and broke one off. It would have been cool if he still had that. Still is a great deer. I really wish I would have gotten a crack at him.

Shedhead, yeah, I really didn't want to go in there but I sprayed my boots down and tried to be as scent free as possible. I don't think I bumped any big boys. In fact there were no fresh tracks in there thankfully. Im going to stay out now but I have this urge to go back in there in a month or so and look for some big ones. I know I shouldn't though since it is their bedroom.

He scored 171 Here he is on the wall with a 135" 10pt I shot early this season. Unfortunately I had to leave him overnight and the coyotes got the best of him. My luck this year I guess.
