I was talking with a friend of mine and he said deer really
hammer food plots with triticale in it. Does anyone else have any feed back on this or has anyone ever used it before?
From what I know from research it is a hybrid wheat and rye type of grain.

I think it is a little thicker than wheat and a little hardier.
I know that they had 10,000 lbs order for food plots at the Chamois MFA.
If you search the net they kind of say it is new to everyone but
has been around for sometime now. I planted it this year and
I will let everyone know how they do on it.
It is really suppose to be good in the late winter.

i had some in a plot last year and they didnt hit it but then again with all the acorns they didnt hit any of our plots. it looks like wheat on steroids.
